…originally around $85 our PREOWNED price is $48
….circa 1996 to 2006 is as close as I can get as to when this became my treasure.
overall size width of 27” body of rug 43” long plus 4” handknotted fringed ends for length of 51”
The process......she takes yesterday's fashions, primarily corduroy pants, and cuts rips and snips them into 1/4" -3/4" strips. Next she stands at her 18th century room sized loom and the magic of her keen eye and unmatched skill creates an amazing one of a kind RAG RUG.
This Rag Rug is woven with a 100% cotton warp, yarn in the black, rustic red and ivory with black rags.
Easy care; a shake, a sweep, or cold water wash, gentle, and line dry. I have often used a garden hose spray and a warm day to clean my RAGRUGS4U over the years.

WEAVER’s statement …”Traditional? Rag Rugs date back to the late 18th Century in the US and the Rag Rug tradition is alive and well all over the world.
Sustainability? My Rag Rugs have always been woven with natural fiber yarns and recycled clothes, tons of clothes. Plus the energy used to weave each and every one comes from what I bring to the loom each day, not a power cord.
Utilitarian? My intention, beginning in 1980, has been to weave hardworking rugs with eye appeal. Based on the hundreds of repeat and multi generational customers I am satisfied the rugs wear well….”
