Here is a fabulous “made by humans” treasure.
We sold these pieces years ago and then retained one that served us well to hold many a treasure on our shelves before we archived the retired object.
approx 15” square when flat
bendable square Is a flat thin substantial solid and perhaps a metal bass material that is encased with what I believe to be a reclaimed pebbled leather.
while it was completely flat when new, it has aged with character from the various shapes it was from time to time.
