53” long chain is made from steel with 8 accent links of silver.  Each link is 1/2" by 1". The chain has an S-hook clasp and can be worn long or doubled. Worn long, the chain falls to approximately stomach length pending stature.

Caring for steel:

Steel is a versatile, lightweight material for jewelry. All my steel jewelery is sealed with wax to prevent rust. Your necklace will hold up well over time, but I recommend you take it off before jumping in the shower or pool.
